About Us

CyberSafeFamily.com believes educating parents is the key in keeping our kids safe online. Our goal is to provide parents with the latest information, resources and education on internet safety.  This includes cell phones, iTouches, iPhones, parental controls, online behavior, cyberbullying, social network sites, Wi-Fi gaming systems and the latest technology trends.

When it comes to technology, kids have an advantage over their parents.  Early elementary classrooms use the latest technology, which is constantly changing.  Teachers use iTouches, cell phones, e-book readers and social network sites in the classroom.  Parents are asking their kids to help them with computer and technology questions.

Many parents are overwhelmed with today’s technology.  They know they need to teach their kids about online safety, but they want to know when and how. The parental control software you bought with your computer is only a small part of the answer. If this is all you have, your kids are vulnerable.

CyberSafeFamily provides resources and education to today’s digital parents. We research the latest trends regarding online safety and today’s technology.  Then we provide parents with short articles that explain the trends and solutions.

Parents are responsible for teaching their kids how to use the internet safely and responsibly. As parents embrace the digital world they connect with their kids on a different level.

If you don’t know where to begin or what to say, you have come to the right place.  CyberSafeFamily provides parents with the tools needed to raise our family with safe and responsible online behavior.

Cammie Moise Founder

CyberSafeFamily was founded by Cammie Moise after a family member was accidentally exposed to pornography at a friend’s house.  Realizing the same incident could have happened at her own home, she began researching online safety information including filters for home computers. Her passion to educate others became a reality in 2008 when she shared her first internet safety presentation to an audience of 12 moms in her neighborhood.

Cammie can be found speaking to parents and students at schools, PTA meetings, neighborhood events, youth groups, churches and conferences.

Cammie Moise has been involved in helping others through programs such as Young Life, G.A.P. and Motherwise.  In addition, she is the founder of MomsMaterial.com, a parenting website.  Cammie is also a Lifetime Mom Affiliate and some of her articles can be found in the Just For Fun section at LifetimeMoms.com.
